In 1968, Our Founder, a young, dynamic & hardworking person, S. Wazir Singh left his job at Punjab electricity board and started his own workshop in our village Chhapar. Although small, it not just provided a great technical support to the local people but also to the nearby villages. It all started with the manufacturing of Centrifugal Pumps (used for Irrigation) and with his sons joining him, the business was soon diversified in 1971 to manufacture Threshers as well. All of this were manufactured with utmost quality and technology.

In 1975, in order to meet the growing demand, a foundry shop was setup at a new location in Ahmedgarh (our current plant). Threshers manufacturing was stopped in 1980 and complete focus was shifted to centrifugal pumps and we contributed hugely to the green revolution in Punjab. A brand under the trade mark name “GTI” was established. The brand GTI soon became synonymous with best quality and well-engineered products. In 1985, Electric motors and Monoblock pumps were added to the product portfolio with huge success. This was a time of big manufacturing boost. This manufacturing continued till 2010 with inception of various machines as the business grew.

In 2005, submersible pumps manufacturing was started but soon the market dynamics changed and the business was reorganized as Grey CI castings supplier to the market. Till then there was 100% in-house consumption of casting.

The Period from 1995-2010 also saw manufacturing of diesel engines and diesel generator sets (single phase and three phase). These were very well received by customers and the quality and workmanship was widely appreciated.

In 2013, in order to reduce the lead times, further enhance casting quality and have broader range of casting material available, an Induction Furnace was incorporated. Further with the introduction of core shooter machine and other quality control measures, we became supplier of choice to various agro-implements manufacturers of Punjab and other states of India.

Since the start of our business in 1968, there have been continuous improvements in production, process control and technology adoption. All efforts have been made to ensure high quality products to our customers.
